1. TwitterBerry – A simple application that lets you view your friend’s Twitter timeline, includes integration with TwitPic, and also lets you update your tweets in portrait and landscape orientation.

2. SocialScope – This is one of the newest Twitter to arrive for the Storm. This application has a sleek, clean layout that allows you to simultaneously post your status on Twitter and Facebook together. Another feature is, instead of one of your friend’s tweet reporting “5 minutes ago from web,” it will actually specify the exact time the tweet was posted. You can also sort tweets by a specific user as well.

3. ÜberTwitter – This is also another recently-developed Twitter application that is getting a lot of attention. With this application, you are able to upload a picture to ÜberTwitter‘s own servers (instead of TwitPic), update your Twitter and Google Talk statuses simultaneously, and also update your location in relation to the cellphone tower that is closest to you.

To download the YouTube Client onto your Storm, there are two ways available to you:

• On Your Storm: Visit http://m.google.com/youtube in your Storm’s browser.
• On Your PC: Visit Google’s YouTube Application Website and enter the phone number of your Storm in the “Get YouTube for your phone” text box.

• The Wall Street Journal – If you are an avid reader of the paper version of America’s content-rich financial newspaper, this is the application for you. Get all your up-to-date WSJ articles on your storm with this quality plugin.
• Facebook – Addicted to Facebook? View all of your friend and status updates in one handy application. You can even write on your friends’ wall straight from this application. Great for the Facebook addicted Storm user.
• Flickr – Do you take a lot of pictures using the camera feature on your Storm? If you want to share them with your friends on the web, this application which ties into Flickr (a very popular photo sharing site) is the one for you. All you have to do is shoot and upload!
• ESPN – Big into sports? Get up-to-date scores and reports via sports’ #1 network. This is a great way to stay updated if you are away from your computer or TV.
• Guitar Hero III – If you are an avid player of this game and want to take it with you on your Storm, this is the application for you. Keep addicted away from the console with this phone-sized version of the popular rocking game.

• Like most smart phones, the Storm allows you to check your email.  However, you can actually set up several different email accounts for the Storm to check automatically, allowing you to quickly scan personal, work, and other emails.

• The Storm’s browser allows you to view websites and bookmark favorites.

• The calendar application lists dates, lets you schedule meetings, and make to-do lists.

• The media application allows you to play songs, browse your ring tones, view images, and play videos.  The Storm easily connects to any laptop or PC and includes software to automatically convert music and video files to those usable by the Storm.

• The voice recorder lets you use your Storm to record voice memos and make notes hands-free.

• The Storm’s desktop software includes a variety of functions for managing documents and syncing your Storm with your PC or laptop.

• Read Microsoft Office documents and make basic edits to them while on the go.

• Likewise, you can read PDF files on your Storm.

• Finally, many third-party applications are supported by the Storm and the Blackberry OS.  Many of these can be downloaded off the internet for free.
