Blackberry Storm Updates

The microblogging social network of Twitter is a very powerful and popular way to let your friends know what are you doing within 140 characters. With this in mind, it gets more popular with its integration with mobile/cellular devices.

I have provided some applications below that you can use on your Storm to interact with and post to Twitter, and to find the one that best fits you.

1. TwitterBerry – A simple application that lets you view your friend’s Twitter timeline, includes integration with TwitPic, and also lets you update your tweets in portrait and landscape orientation.

2. SocialScope – This is one of the newest Twitter to arrive for the Storm. This application has a sleek, clean layout that allows you to simultaneously post your status on Twitter and Facebook together. Another feature is, instead of one of your friend’s tweet reporting “5 minutes ago from web,” it will actually specify the exact time the tweet was posted. You can also sort tweets by a specific user as well.

3. ÜberTwitter – This is also another recently-developed Twitter application that is getting a lot of attention. With this application, you are able to upload a picture to ÜberTwitter‘s own servers (instead of TwitPic), update your Twitter and Google Talk statuses simultaneously, and also update your location in relation to the cellphone tower that is closest to you.
